Description: Dr. Robert Ballard is a world-renowned ocean explorer who has been on more than 100 expeditions over the past 50 years. This summer he led an expedition on the E/V Nautilus to explore ancient history and learn about the ocean. Nautilus scientists mapped the sea floor, discovered tubeworms and other life forms, explored shipwrecks, and more.
