Immersion Learning invites you to participate in an exciting live webinar with aquatic veterinarian Dr. Allison Tuttle! Dr. Tuttle is the Staff Veterinarian & Director of Animal Care at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration. She cares for a variety of aquatic animals at the Aquarium including fish, beluga whales, and stranded seals. You can learn more about Dr. Tuttle’s work by reading her career interview or playing Immersion’s Seal Rescue! game in which you get to be the vet and investigate what is wrong with four stranded seals. Romano is the senior vice president of Research and Zoological Operations at Mystic Aquarium & Institute for Exploration. She conducts research on beluga whales at the Aquarium and also works with Alaska Natives to study beluga whales in the wild off the coast of Point Lay, Alaska. You can learn more about Dr. Romano's work by reading her career interview or checking out Activity 5: Beluga Basic Training from Immersion's Marine Mammals of the Arctic Adventure Series.
