Dr. Ballard's 2006 expedition will include explorations of the Black Sea, Aegean Sea, and Sea of Crete. During the Immersion Presents broadcasts in June, Dr. Ballard and an international team of scientists—representing the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research and the University of Rhode Island—will travel to the Aegean Sea to explore the waters around the Greek island of Thera (Santorini).
