Winners of International Marine Debris Art Contest Announced |

MYSTIC, Conn. (October 31, 2011) – Two grand prize winners and 10 finalists have been selected in the 2011 International Marine Debris Art Contest sponsored by Immersion Learning, The JASON Project and the North American Marine Environmental Protection Association (NAMEPA). Each year, these organizations invite students in grades K-12 throughout North America to create a poster on a theme related to the marine environment. The 2011 contest challenged students to create a poster about the types, sources and/or impacts of marine debris. |
